Kazakhstan’s Baiterek Holding plans to expand its investment and loan portfolios to 16.5 trillion tenge ($35.2 billion) as part of its long-term development strategy.
According to him, Baiterek’s investment and loan portfolios have already reached 14.3 trillion tenge ($30.5 billion), while net profit remains above 400 billion tenge ($853.7 million) annually.
“The project envisages a transition to a proactive investment holding model focused on efficient asset management, creating conditions for strong businesses and improving the quality of life of the population,” the report said.
The meeting also covered investment projects planned for implementation.
Tokayev highlighted the importance of maintaining sustainable economic growth, attracting long-term investment, strengthening support for small and medium-sized enterprises and improving housing affordability for citizens.
