Askar Biakhmetov has been appointed Chief of Staff of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of National Economy, according to the press service of the government. The appointment was made by an order of Kazakhstan’s Minister of National Economy. In 2014–2015, he was Director of the Department for Development of the Public Administration System at the Ministry of National Economy. In 2019–2020, he worked as an adviser to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
