Cummins is reporting record second quarter revenues with improved sales in North America and internationally. The Columbus based engine manufacturer released its second quarter figures yesterday showing $9.5 billion in revenues in the second quarter this year, compared to $8.6 billion in the same period last year, an increase of 9 percent. The company says sales were up 8 percent in North America and up 12 percent internationally. Overall, the company’s earning before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were $1.7 billion in the second quarter of this year, compared to $1.6 billion last year, an 18.4 percent increase. Accelera is Cummins zero emissions business segment, started in 2023.
