(WCAX) - Police now say a mother and a grandmother killed four children in a Northern New York apartment, then took their own lives. Police say the six found dead were Amy Steadman, 64; Sarah Myers, 44; Harper Harmon, 13; Hudson Harmon, 11; Gavin Harmon, 10; and Gracelynn Harmon, 10. Investigators say the children were drugged, and one was stabbed multiple times and had defensive wounds. Text messages revealed Sarah Myers and her mother, Amy Steadman, discussed getting medications, giving them to Myers’ kids, where they would kill them, and how to avoid suspicion. Police believe the children were killed on June 10, nearly two weeks before they were found dead on June 23.
