Sheridan Jets Legion Baseball: The Sheridan Jets Legion Baseball team were the surprise team at this year’s state tournament. Blake Ligocki says that’s not a big concern and the competition will help them gain experience for next year. If they finish in the top 2 of their pool, then they advance to a 4-team single elimination bracket for the championship. The conference opener is on September 26th at home vs. Hawaii. Wyoming also has games against conference newcomers North Dakota State and UTEP on the road, and will host Northern Illinois.
