Southern Water relaunches business water saving reward scheme

Southern Water has relaunched its You Save, We’ll Pay reward scheme, targeting companies in Hampshire as the region faces drought conditions and declining river levels.
Tania Flasck, director of water operations at Southern Water, said: "We’re grateful to customers who have put down their hosepipes and made small changes at home, helping to take pressure off Hampshire’s precious chalk streams.

A Southern Water spokesperson said: "These are precautionary measures and making an application does not mean they will be introduced."
The statutory consultation on the Drought Order application runs from August 4 to August 11.
