The airport received a "Very Good" rating in the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) latest Airport Accessibility Report, up from "Good" in the previous year. Improvements were credited in part to Southampton Airport’s Accessibility Forum. The CAA praised enhancements to disability awareness training and increased equipment provision.
