It's putting it mildly to say that Spider-Man: Brand New Day has had an impressive opening week. Tom Holland's latest Spider-Man outing exploded into theaters with a colossal $932 million global opening weekend, including a record-breaking $360 million domestic debut — the biggest in box office history. Even more impressively, the momentum has barely slowed down since the opening weekend. Now, Variety have reported that Destin Daniel Cretton's second time directing a Marvel film has broken another box office milestone. The biggest question though, is whether Holland's latest outing can challenge the box office record set by Spider-Man: No Way Home, which ended its theatrical run with an incredible $1.92 billion worldwide.
