The Longs Arms in Steeple Ashton, near Trowbridge, has been put up for sale again, this time with a price tag of £600,000. As reported in this paper in December 2024, the venue remained on the market over Christmas, and was on offer for £995,000. Earlier in 2026, this paper reported that the pub had been put back on the market, at that time for £750,000. "Any loss of the pub and the services it provides would have a detrimental impact on the community of Steeple Ashton," said the council. Wiltshire Council agreed to list the pub on April 28, and the listing will stay in force until 2031.
