Bhubaneswar: Prompt action by Dhauli Police saved the life of a 25-year-old young man, who allegedly attempted suicide inside a hotel room in Bhubaneswar after posting a distressing video message on social media. The youth had uploaded a video indicating his intent to end his life before switching off his mobile phone. Upon arriving at the scene, police found the hotel room locked from the inside and broke down the door. Dhauli Police Station Inspector-in-Charge (IIC) Smruti Ranjan Mohanty and his team immediately rushed the victim to Capital Hospital. The team immediately conducted technical analysis and traced the youth to a hotel in the Master Canteen area.
