The Oregon Rotary Foundation is once again offering scholarships to college students living within the boundaries of the Oregon Community School District. Hollie J. Guist Jr., scholarship chairperson, will accept letters from scholarship applicants through Sept. 15. Letters should be sent directly to him at Guist Agency, Inc., Box 296, Oregon, IL 61061 or to his email at deana@guistagency.com. Applicants must observe the following criteria: Applicants must be residents of the Oregon Community Unit School District. Applicants must have completed at least one year in a four-year college, a two-year college, or a trade school. The financial need of the candidate or the financial status of the candidate will not be a factor.
