Bury charity launches Summer Savers campaign to help families avoid debt
['James Mcneill']
Bury Times | News
The Bury Project, in partnership with debt advice charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP), has launched its Summer Savers scheme in Bury to help families manage their finances during the school break.
The campaign offers practical budgeting support, free debt help, and advice on stretching household budgets, something CAP debt coaches Gordon Clark and Hannah Sadler say is urgently needed.
Families are encouraged to use the free resources offered by CAP, including debt help and budgeting support.
Extra support is available online at capuk.org, which includes a series of summer savers blogs with more helpful tips, and via the Bury CAP Debt Centre by emailing Mr Clark at gordonclark@capuk.org.
In addition to the campaign, CAP has a series of summer savers blogs with more helpful tips.
