Planning permission has been requested from Bury Council to change the use of the first and second floors of 65 to 69 Rochdale Road into the new housing. Originally, the application was submitted for 10 flats, but this was rejected, planning documents state. The entrance to flats 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 will be on Yarwood Street and the entrance to flats 4, 5, 8, and 9 will be on Back Rochdale Road. On Yarwood Street there is a former pub takeaway on the ground floor, documents state, with four first floor windows to flats.
