The Westmorland Gazette | News
Kendal United Football Club Submitted a planning application to Westmorland and Furness Council for internal changes.
The application sought a Lawful Development Certificate for proposed works to the clubhouse at Castle Grove.
Works include plaster boarding and plastering, converting a bathroom into a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities and installing an internal porch with glazed doors.
A decision notice issued by Westmorland and Furness Council stated that the proposed internal alterations do not constitute development as defined under planning law and therefore do not require planning permission.
A Certificate of Lawfulness for a Proposed Use or Development was formally issued by the council, confirming that the works are permitted under planning law.
