Staff ReportLAPORTE – A LaPorte woman was arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle from Kosciusko County. On July 12, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported auto theft. The friend drove the vehicle to the victim’s residence, and left Brown in the vehicle alone with the keys. With the use of traffic surveillance cameras, officers were able to locate the stolen vehicle in LaPorte County on the same day. Officers with the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office found the vehicle at a residence and noted the license plate was removed.
