LEESBURG – Brayden Bontrager recently competed in two bass fishing tournaments at a national level. Additionally, Bontrager also competes on the Indiana Bass Nation trail, which covers the whole state of Indiana, unlike IBF which is regional. Bontrager hopes to one day fish for a college bass fishing team, then “make it to the elites from there.” He has a mentor in Wesson Vint, who attends Adrian College in Michigan on a full-ride bass fishing scholarship. Adrian College has one of the top bass fishing teams in the nation and is Bontrager’s college of choice.
