Michael D. “Mike” Holderman, 75, LaFontaine, died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Wabash. He was born March 6, 1951, in Fort Wayne, to Lewis Dean and Velma Jean “Sally” (Schlemmer) Holderman. On Oct. 27, 2006, he married Deané Smith, who survives. He also is survived by his children, Joseph (Julie) Holderman, Kate (Greg) Denham, Claire (Chad) Clark and Matt Holderman; 10 grandchildren; and his sisters, Pamela (Doug) Simons and Lucinda “Cindy” (Billy Wicker) Holderman. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, is handling arrangements.
