David Louis Ewert, 90, Winona Lake, died Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, at Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. He was born Feb. 10, 1936, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Edward and Matilda (Peruzzi) Ewert. On May 11, 1967, he married Lillian Holtz, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara, and her husband, Brad, of Warsaw; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Redpath-Fruth-Byers Funeral Home, Warsaw, is handling local arrangements.
