A vocational training institute in Rabat is set for a major upgrade under a new 19.03 million dirham project designed to help young people learn technical skills and find jobs in Morocco and Germany. The project is led by the Chamber of Crafts of the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region with support from the German-backed Invest for Employment program. Physically, the upgrade includes construction of two new buildings covering respectively 400 square meters and 500 square meters. They house new classrooms, practical workshops, offices and technical spaces, alongside three new workshops in fields with growing demand: automotive electrical systems, solar photovoltaic energy, and refrigeration and air conditioning. Invest for Employment is funded by Germany’s KfW Development Bank on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
