The cattle made their way onto the A47 Acle Straight earlier today, resulting in "standstill traffic" in the area. Queues stretched back along the stretch of road as attempts were made to herd the animals away from danger. Police were eventually called to the scene at 7.26am to assist. The cows, one brown, one black, and one black and white, were eventually moved out of danger. The issue was safely resolved by 8.30am and traffic in the area has since cleared.
