Officers attended the location to arrest a man in connection with an assault in Gorleston in June. During the arrest, an officer was struck with a knife. Darren Mahoney, 54, of no fixed address, has been charged with GBH with intent and possession of a knife. He appeared at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday via video link and was remanded in custody.
