The Papua New Guinea project now contains 404,000 indicated ounces within 8.94 million tonnes grading 1.41 g/t gold. Inferred resources were estimated at 207,000 ounces within 6.52 million tonnes grading 0.99 g/t gold. Gameta previously contained 173,000 indicated ounces and 340,000 inferred ounces, based on figures Adyton continued to report before the update. That means total resources increased from 513,000 ounces to 611,000 ounces, or approximately 19%, while 133,000 ounces disappeared from the lower-confidence inferred category. Higher indicated resources can provide a stronger basis for feasibility studies, permitting work, and potential reserve conversion.
