James “Jim” Michael Ranes, 76, of Jamesport, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, at his home. Jim was born May 13, 1950, in Jamesport, Missouri, to John Riley and Cornelia Dell (Robertson) Ranes. He strongly supported his hometown and the Jamesport Junior Livestock Show. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jamesport Junior Livestock Show or Comfort Care Hospice in care of the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home in Jamesport.
