British-Iranian comedian and actor Omid Djalili is set to bring his latest stand-up show, ‘Namaste’, to Salford later in 2026. He has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, won the Time Out Award for Best Stand-Up, received a Perrier Award nomination and earned the Edinburgh Award Panel Prize. Djalili won Best Actor at the Turin Film Festival for his performance in The Infidel, demonstrating his talent as a dramatic and comedic actor. He has also featured in numerous Hollywood films and television productions, building an international profile that reaches far beyond stand-up audiences.
