— A new Love’s Travel Stop is moving toward a mid-October opening as projects across Natrona County advance, county officials reported Tuesday. During the Natrona County Board of Commissioners work session, Building Director Brad Morrison said a service conflict with Rocky Mountain Power for Love’s has been resolved. The county’s building department generated $1.1 million in revenue for the completed fiscal year, with June collections reaching $233,000. Commissioner Peter Nicolaysen questioned the move and suggested hiring a shared local grant writer with Converse County instead. Commissioner Dallas Laird agreed, saying an in-house grant writer could earn their salary quickly.
