US agribusiness Scoular is installing a soybean dehuller at its Covington, Ohio facility, its second such operation and a direct response to rising customer demand for dehulled soybeans used in soymilk and other plant-based products. The company expects the Covington dehuller to be operational by mid-2027. Building on the Illinois modelCovington becomes Scoular’s second dehulling facility, following the dehuller added at its Andres, Illinois site in 2023.
