Police have escorted a man accused of killing Scottish aid worker Elisabeth Jane Ross and hiding her body in a suitcase to court after he was charged with murder and robbery. The body of Ross, 38, was discovered inside the suitcase at an abandoned building on July 18 a few days after she had arrived in Athens to visit friends. The suspect was identified from street camera footage recorded near the site, showing a man wheeling a large, dark-coloured suitcase. The United Kingdom National Crime Agency and Police Scotland assisted with the investigation, along with law enforcement from the United States.
