Jones, the current Representative for Missouri House District 12, aims to succeed current Senator Tony Luetkemeyer, who plans to step down. Jones garnered 11,772 votes in the primary, defeating opponents Sean Pouche and Ryan Gerster. He will face Democrat Shereka Barnes in the upcoming November 3rd election.
