Conservative talk radio host Chris Stigall won the Republican primary for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Kansas City Councilman Nathan Willett in a five-candidate field. Stigall received about 44% of the vote, while Willett garnered 34%. On the Democratic side, Josh Smead won the nomination with nearly 48% of the vote. Stigall and Smead will face off in the November general election to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Sam Graves.
