Stigall, Smead win primary elections for 6th Congressional District

Conservative talk radio host Chris Stigall won the Republican primary for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District, defeating Kansas City Councilman Nathan Willett in a five-candidate field.
Stigall received about 44% of the vote, while Willett garnered 34%.
On the Democratic side, Josh Smead won the nomination with nearly 48% of the vote.
Stigall and Smead will face off in the November general election to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Sam Graves.
Stigall expressed gratitude to his supporters and opponents, emphasizing the positive nature of the campaign and his commitment to representing rural communities.
