Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) is considering introducing the flexible HertsLynx transport scheme in and around Redbourn, and wants to hear from the community through an online public survey. The HertsLynx service does not follow fixed routes or timetables. Launched in North and East Hertfordshire in September 2021, the service began with just three buses and averaged 1,400 passenger journeys per month. A separate HertsLynx service was introduced in Dacorum in December 2023. The county council hopes to better understand whether a similar service would benefit Redbourn and neighbouring areas.
