Fenland Council has agreed plans to change the use of the building on Wisbech Market Place. The official said issues with the building included decaying timber fascia boards, blocked gutters, peeling render and windows in need of repair. It will serve English breakfast, light meals and café style refreshments, and will primarily cater to locals and visitors. Wisbech Town Council and the Wisbech Society both supported the plans. The change of use was agreed on condition work begins within three years.
