Sir David was stabbed to death during a constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, in 2021. Solicitors for the Amess family have said the review into his murder “must provide answers”. Prevent, Lord Anderson said, was “failing to detect potential terrorists or, when it does detect them, failing to prevent atrocities”.
