The framework, titled Comprehensive Framework for the Development of Intellectual Property Commercialisation and Securitisation for the Creative Industry in Nigeria, was presented to the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, under the ministry’s Afreximbank project on improving intellectual property protection in Nigeria. The ministry described intellectual property as one of the most valuable assets in the creative economy, adding that unlocking its commercial value remains central to its vision for sustainable growth.
