The Dubai Creek Lights project is a new Dubai Municipality initiative that will transform an 8km stretch of Dubai Creek into a nighttime attractionThe Dubai Creek Lights project was first announced back in June 2026, and now plans are moving ahead to give one of Dubai’s oldest landmarks a dazzling after-dark makeover. The project, backed by an investment of Dhs80 million, will create an integrated visual and urban experience spanning eight kilometres of Dubai Creek. The initiative is part of Dubai Municipality’s continued work to transform Dubai’s public spaces and landmarks, creating more memorable experiences. He added that through the Dubai Creek Lights project, ‘we are bringing part of that journey back to life along its banks’. The Dubai Creek Lights project is expected to be completed in Q1 2027.
