Fresh from his appearance on The Celebrity Traitors and the launch of his own podcast, Joe Marler has landed another project with the BBC. Marler has been confirmed as the series' first-ever Celebrity Gladiator, where he will go by the clever stage moniker of Mauler. Marler will join the Gladiators in battle as they seek to thwart contestants in their bid for glory. The announcement was welcomed by several fans and followers in the comment section on Instagram, with Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey - known as Nitro in the BBC series - sending three applause emojis.
