The success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day has caused a surge in people playing Spider-Man video games.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hit cinemas last month and has already broken box office records, becoming the second-fastest film to gross more than $1billion.
Polygon reports that Google search terms for “new Spider-Man game” and “Spider-Man Brand New Day game” have seen a 40 per cent increase since the launch of Brand New Day while concurrent player numbers for Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 have also hit new heights.
