Betsson has re-established a direct consumer presence in Ontario after completing its acquisition of Rhino Entertainment Group’s Canadian B2C operations, led by the Casino Days platform. Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson AB, has announced that the company has completed its acquisition of Rhino Entertainment’s Canadian B2C operations. Betsafe is no longer listed in the iGaming Ontario database of licensed iGaming operators. Founded in 2020, Rhino Entertainment Group owns and operates Casino Days—which launched in Ontario in February 2023—alongside Big Boost and Lucky Spins. The total purchase price for Betsson’s acquisition of Rhino is €64.5 million (US$74.3 million).
