Sammy Gyamfi has issued a legal notice directing all individuals and media organisations to immediately cease the publication, republication and dissemination of what he describes as false and defamatory allegations linking him to an alleged GH¢200 million Ghana Gold Board scandal. According to the legal notice, the allegations are “entirely false, malicious, reckless and devoid of any factual or legal basis.” To clarify the matter, the notice states that Sammy Gyamfi has never met, known, engaged or maintained any personal or professional relationship with Dominic Bonsu. Additionally, the legal notice states that neither Sammy Gyamfi nor the Ghana Gold Board entrusted, transferred or paid GH¢200 million, or any other public funds, to Dominic Bonsu. The legal notice concludes by stating that it is issued without prejudice to all rights and remedies available to Sammy Gyamfi, all of which have been expressly reserved.
