Recent field investigations and inquiries across direct-sales stores in Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai, and Chengdu suggest that pre-orders for the new series may have already exceeded 100,000 units. The Xiaomi Skynomad series, built on the “Kunlun” technical architecture, consists of two extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models: the N90, a large seven-seater SUV, and the N70, a large five-seater SUV. To support the launch, Xiaomi has implemented diverse retail strategies. Regarding production capacity and delivery timelines, sales staff confirmed that the Skynomad series is already in production at Xiaomi’s second-phase manufacturing base in Beijing. The successful launch of the Skynomad series is critical for Xiaomi to meet its ambitious annual sales target of 550,000 vehicles.
