At the 1A State Qualifier meet in Ottumwa they both earned bids to Fort Dodge, with Yoder finishing fifth and Stanerson seventh. At the 1A State Qualifier in Ottumwa, Klett earned a bid back to State with his individual runner-up finish. The Highland boys were 15th as a group at the Ottumwa State Qualifier, with Fink’s 57th pacing the team. Bombei was the leader at the Superconference Championships taking 14th individually, Bombei’s 20th place run was best at the State Qualifier.
