China led the international ticket sales at 121 million dollars (£90 million). The movie also set a record as the fastest film to earn 400 million dollars (£297 million) at the American box office after only four days. Sony Pictures spent 225 million dollars (£167 million) to make Spider-Man: Brand New Day, not including marketing costs.
