CentreThe North Okanagan Labour Council has officially launched its endorsement process for candidates running in the 2026 municipal government elections across the valley. The North Okanagan Labour Council is a chartered body of the Canadian Labour Congress and represents dozens of public and private unions in the Okanagan. Endorsement applications are open to candidates running for mayor, municipal council, regional district director, or school board trustee within the council's jurisdiction. The Labour Council plans to publicly announce its slate of endorsed candidates on Oct. 8.
