The Bradley Creek Wildfire was sparked Friday night on Okanagan Indian Band land, near the north end of Okanagan Lake, and spread rapidly to the north throughout Saturday. Westside Road was closed in the area Saturday afternoon, then the fire jumped across Highway 97 that evening, forcing the highway's closure as well.
