Hungary’s Ozora Festival was brought to a close early following the death of two attendees. The 30,000-capacity psychedelic music event in Dádpuszta was due to run from 24 July to 4 August but was shut down at midnight on 2 August following news of unrelated incidents that left two dead. The event, which focuses on psychedelic trance or ‘psytrance’, saw a 45-year-old US man fall to his death from a structure near the festival’s main stage on Saturday. Earlier the same day, a 39-year-old Hungarian woman suffered a fatal cardiac arrest, potentially resulting from extreme heat. “We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the families, loved ones, and friends of the two deceased.
