Kelsey Grammer Says Filming AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Is Basically: “Pretend You’re in Hell”
['Joey Paur']

As he gets ready to reprise Beast in Avengers: Doomsday, the veteran actor opened up about the huge difference between making an indie film and stepping onto a Marvel set.
Making Lars Shrike Walks the Night demanded a lot from everyone involved, while Marvel productions offer a level of comfort that most independent films simply can't match.
As Grammer explained: “In Avengers, it looks like we’re suffering, but we’re not.”
Independent productions typically have to maximize every shooting day and stretch every dollar, while major studio tentpoles like Avengers: Doomsday have the resources for larger crews, longer schedules, and plenty of support throughout production.
Grammer will next return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Dr. Henry "Beast" McCoy in Avengers: Doomsday, following his surprise appearance in The Marvels.
