St Richard’s Hospice is hosting a special afternoon with actress Sunny Ormonde, known for her long-running role as Lilian Bellamy, at its Worcester restaurant, The Green, on Sunday, September 6. Miss Ormonde has played the character for 26 years and will share stories from the show, which is marking its 75th anniversary this year. Sofia Gunster, events and community fundraising lead at St Richard’s Hospice, said: "This is set to be a fantastic event for fans of The Archers, in the radio show's 75th anniversary year. Following her talk, guests will enjoy a Sunday lunch prepared by the hospice chef. Miss Ormonde said: "I am delighted to be able to support St Richard’s Hospice and all the wonderful work they do."
