Inquest opened after man was found dead on major road last month

Wilfred Stuart Cameron, 79, of Garth Road, Cwmbran, was discovered on the A4042 on July 17 at around 10.42pm after a member of the public reported seeing a body on the road.
An inquest has been opened as it is believed to be a death following a traumatic injury.
Area Coroner for Gwent, Rose Farmer, confirmed that a post-mortem has been carried out but a provisional cause of death is still awaited.
An inquest will be held on April 27, 2027 at 2pm, and the matter is adjourned until then.
