Wilfred Stuart Cameron, 79, of Garth Road, Cwmbran, was discovered on the A4042 on July 17 at around 10.42pm after a member of the public reported seeing a body on the road. An inquest has been opened as it is believed to be a death following a traumatic injury. Area Coroner for Gwent, Rose Farmer, confirmed that a post-mortem has been carried out but a provisional cause of death is still awaited.
