Ken Dobbs, 74, of Llys Cwm Llwydrhew, Six Bells, Abertillery appeared before Newport Magistrates' Court charged with attempting to communicate sexually with a child. The case returned to Newport Magistrates' Court on July 30, where sentencing was adjourned to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared. As part of his bail conditions, Dobbs was ordered not to delete or amend his browsing history and must present his mobile phone or any digital devices to officers if requested. The court was told the conditions were imposed to prevent further offending. Dobbs is due to be sentenced at Newport Magistrates' Court on August 27.
