South Wales Police were called to an address in Laleston, a village near Bridgend, at 7.55pm after reports of a shooting. A 29-year-old woman from Bridgend has been arrested on suspicion of affray and being in possession of an air weapon with intent to endanger life. A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "South Wales Police was called at 7:55pm on Tuesday August 4, to reports of a shooting at an address in Laleston, Bridgend. "A 29-year-old woman from Bridgend has been arrested on suspicion of affray and being in possession of an air weapon with intent to endanger life and remains in police custody. "A man suffered minor injuries because of the incident, investigations into the incident are on-going".
