Prostate Cymru is funding a trainee surgical care practitioner post in the urology department at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Rebecca Boyd has taken up the role at the Royal Gwent Hospital, bringing additional support to urology patients across south-east Wales. Tina Tew, chief executive of Prostate Cymru, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to see Becky start her training with the urology team at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Ms Boyd said: "I am absolutely delighted to have started my new role as a Trainee Surgical Care Practitioner in Urology at the Royal Gwent Hospital. Prostate Cymru remains dedicated to ensuring men in Wales receive the best available prostate healthcare, including timely diagnosis and access to specialist treatment.
